Alcester Minster Churches

Worshipping God, making new disciples and transforming communities

Welcome to the Alcester Minster Website

This Lent, Alcester Churches Together are running a course entitled 'Life on the Frontline' - this exciting and imaginative course helps Christians see how they can be disciples of Jesus in the normal situations of everyday life.

The resurrection of Jesus is celebrated every Sunday, but it's great to have a time each year to journey through the events of the weekend that began a new way of relating to God through faith in Jesus Christ.  And to do that in spring is a fantastic visual reminder that each of us can have a fresh start.

Would you like to know more?  Look at our Help pages or send me an email via Contact us, or visit one of the churches for a service.

With not long to go to Easter, please see the list of Easter services and do come along.  Come and share in the new life that Jesus brings.

God bless,

Adrian

What is Alcester Minster?

It is a way of grouping together five Church of England parishes, comprising eight churches in and around Alcester with a single Ministry Team and a commitment to work together.  Many of our activities are therefore Minster-wide, designed for all who attend the churches and all who live in the parishes.  Some activities are specific to a particular parish.

The parishes are:

Alcester (St Nicholas)

Arrow and Weethley (Holy Trinity and St James)

Coughton and Sambourne (St Peter and Sambourne)

Haselor (St Mary and All Saints)

Kinwarton and Great Alne (St Mary the Virgin

and St Mary Magdalen)

Information about services in each Minster Church is available from the drop down menu on the Churches tab and also at this site too:  http://www.achurchnearyou.com/
